Byfields introduced a separate SMSF Divisions in 2009 so it can better service our numerous clients with self-managed superannuation funds. The firm has approximately 360 funds and growing.
The compliance and advisory work for our super funds are based out of the Perth and Northam offices.
All members of our SMSF team have expert knowledge of the complicated superannuation environment and a passion for superannuation which ensures your needs are well catered for.
Through close interaction with the Byfields Financial Planning team, our SMSF Division handle all aspects of superannuation, pensions, structuring and advice.

Roger is a Chartered Accountant who has been providing tax and business services to the business community since 1992. Roger joined Byfields in February 2008 and became an associate of the firm on 1 July 2010. Roger is manager of our newly created Self Managed Superannuation Fund division and provides taxation, accounting and superannuation advice to a wide range of clients. He has over 15 years experience with superannuation. Roger has two young children, a lovely wife and is keen to re-commence a stalled amateur football career one day!

Richard Asquith-Charlton

Initially from a dairy farm in Scotland and after a career in teaching, Richard relocated to Australia in 2000. He completed an accounting degree whilst working for an accounting firm in Northern NSW. Richard is a qualified CPA who has been with Byfields for seven years. Richard provides tax and accounting services to a wide range of farming and business clients. In addition Richard is an accredited SMSF Specialist Advisor™ and heads up our Self Managed Superannuation team in Northam.
