About the Opportunity

Depending on your interest and scope, there are endless opportunities at Byfields!

You could be joining one of our dynamic agribusiness teams based in Perth, or one of our regional offices. Alternatively, you could be diving in headfirst with our business team – learning how we interact with clients across different industries.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced accountants and directors, gaining insight into how we do business. Learn about drafting tax estimate spreadsheets, preparing BAS, financial statements and returns, lodging information to the ATO and various other accounting tasks.

About the role

As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a central role in delivering outstanding client work both through compliance and special projects, receive direct mentoring and share your knowledge with the next generation of accountants. Multiple positions are available, and we’ll match you to the team and projects that align with your goals.

You will work closely with your Manager and/or Director to build the experience, exposure, and knowledge needed to progress your career. Our dedicated Training Manager will also guide and support you, ensuring you have all the tools to be successful in your career.

This role is perfect for an experienced accountant or a fast progressor ready to learn, lead and make a real impact. You’ll be at the forefront of tax planning, financial reporting and advisory work, while growing your leadership and technical expertise.
