As an accountant at Byfields I work as part of one of our Perth Farming team’s. A majority of the clients I do work for are related to agriculture in one form or another. Having grown up on a farm myself, I have found working on these types of clients really relatable.
The most enjoyable part about my job is the people I can interact with on a daily basis. From the people I work with, who are always friendly and willing to help, through to the clients, who are always easy to talk to and make my job that much easier.
In my time at Byfields, I have learnt copious amounts about a range of areas in the accounting field; business structures, tax planning and financial reporting to name a few. However, the most important thing I have learnt is that regardless of how much you already know, you should always be willing to continue learning.
